The new alloys for today are: 50100, 51100 and K294 - Bohled-Uddeholm PM steel which is one more reincarnation of the AISI A11 a.k.a. CPM 10V steel. I keep K294 in a separate record and in general I've stopped consolidating records, and in the future I'll split all the consolidated past records wherever the data was different. Steel Charts 2.0 which I hope will be online before 2010 will handle separate records properly and either way combining is a data loss, which costs time and money to collect :)

Finally! As usual it took a lot more time than I have anticipated. This time it will require to do tube layout redesign too :( 8570 is two slots wide besides being really long. ATI drivers suck as usual, nothing has changed in the years since I've had the last ATI card. Sound drivers got screwed up while installing ATI drivers, besides I had to downclock CPU 200mhz to make the whole thing stable. No idea why a new GPU would affect my OC. Now for the weekend, redoing tubes ,flashing/replacing the coolant and I'm good for next few months.

Well, after all this wait :) I sure hope it ain't DOA and according to the plan, I'll use it for few days as is, no watercooling. I'll install waterblock on the weekend if all is well.

Considering the amount of steel related terminology in the reviews, articles and the knife steel charts, I figured a small dictionary was in order. So far just a few basic terms, but I am guessing it will grow.

Lots of changes, at least for one day. Thanks to Bishamon I was able to: Add a better photo for the Kako Deba a.k.a. Usudeba, add a better photo for the Tarasaki, add a better photo for the Takeda Bunka Bano Bocho. Add new phots for the Sabasaki and Dakketsu. Also, set correct descriptions for Kawatachi Hocho and Kakugata Kawamuki. Both are for cutting cloth and leather, not for skinning as stated before. Again, thanks Bishamon for finding and correcting this error.

Considering that the graph handles variable sizes and sizes are up to 1920x1000,I figured I could do better than just 10 alloys :) Increased the number of the alloys the user can compare from 10 to 12.
